How to reach Leh Ladakh?
● By Air
One of the easiest ways to visit Leh Ladakh is to fly to Leh. The nearest airport to which one can fly is Late Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport located in Leh. The airport receives flights from some of the major airlines operating in India such as AirIndia, Vistara, GoAir (few to mention). One thing to keep in mind when flying to Leh Ladakh is that the airport is controlled by the military. Hence, it is very necessary to carry all the required documents in proper condition including a print out of the flight ticket. From the airport, travel on the road to reach the desired destination.
● By Train
One can travel to Leh Ladakh through rail also. However, this is the least used route to reach Leh Ladakh due to the amount of hassle one will face during the journey. The closest railway station is about 700 kms from Ladakh. The railway station is located in Tawi, Jammu. The minimum amount of time it requires one to reach Ladakh from the railway station in Tawi is two days. The amount of time required in the journey is one of the reasons that this is the least preferred way to travel to Leh Ladakh.

Leh Ladakh is the dream destination of every bike and adventure lover. The first is starting from Srinagar which passes through Zoji La Pass and the other is starting from Manali which passes through Rohtang pass.
